The Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to several Laws of Ukraine regarding Social Protection of People that reside in the Monitoring Areas of Enterprises that extract Uranic Ores, and manufacture Nuclear Facilities and Units related to Nuclear Waste Treatment

The Bill (Reg. No.2174) is aimed at enhancement of social protection of people who reside in the monitoring areas of enterprises that extract uranic ores, and manufacture nuclear facilities and units related to nuclear waste treatment. The Bill amends the following Laws: "On Application of Nuclear Energy, and Radiation Safety", "On Power Industry", and "On Taxation System".
